Sauna Boat “Alice”

Turn the sauna on, and switch off the everyday. Treat yourself to four hours of relaxation, a break from the daily grind, and unwind completely. The offer includes a 4-hour sauna session for 2–6 people and costs CHF 450. Towels, bathrobes, and slippers, as well as beverages, can be added to your booking or brought by yourself. No boat driving license is required to operate the boat. The minimum age for booking the sauna boat is 18 years. Our sauna boat ALICE is taken out of the water from June to August. Our sauna boat HILDI, on the other hand, can also be booked in summer.

- Passenger ships, fishing boats, and sailboats always have right of way.
- The minimum distance to passenger ships is 50 meters.
- When operating the boat, keep a minimum distance of 150 meters from the shore.
- Please maintain at least 50 meters distance from the shore when stationary. To minimize noise, we also ask you not to stay near residents.
- In case of storm warning (orange flashing light 90 times per minute), please return immediately to our boat rental or head to the nearest port.
- If the boat is not anchored, there must always be a person ready to maneuver.
- The driver must not be under the influence of alcohol (max. 0.5 per mille).

Where is the starting point for my sauna boat booking?

Can I book the sauna boat for only 2 or 3 hours?
In exceptional cases, we offer a 3-hour trip for 350 CHF. For special requests, please contact us at mail@bootsvermietungenge.ch.
Can I book the sauna boat in the morning during the week?
On weekends, we offer morning slots starting at 8:00 AM / 8:30 AM. If you wish to sauna on the lake early in the morning during the week, you are welcome to contact us personally at mail@bootsvermietungenge.ch. Depending on availability, we will do our best to accommodate your request.
What is the process like on the day of my booking?
Upon arrival at Bootsvermietung Enge, we will conduct a brief introduction and explain how the boat operates, what can be found on board, and the traffic rules you need to follow as the skipper on Lake Zurich. After this 10-minute briefing, your private sauna adventure on Lake Zurich will begin. At the end of the booked 4-hour period, you will return to the Bootsvermietung Enge pier with the boat. One of our crew members will assist you with docking.
Can I book the sauna boat spontaneously?
Generally, no. Our sauna boats can be booked online up to 28 hours before the start of the booking. Sometimes, bookings are postponed or canceled due to illness or scheduling conflicts, leaving some slots available. You are welcome to contact us at short notice by phone at 044 211 22 62 or via email at mail@bootsvermietungenge.ch. You might get lucky, and the desired slot may still be available.
