- The boat has space for up to 7 people.
- You can choose whether you want a large sunbathing area in the front or a table for a picnic on the lake.
- Features include a sunshade, a sound system, and a bathing platform at the rear that can be folded into the water.
- The minimum rental period for online bookings is 2 hours.
- The booking window closes 18 hours before the start of the booking.

Rental Conditions
- For check-in we require a deposit of CHF 200.00 in cash + official identification.
- Includes fully comprehensive insurance, deductible CHF 1,000.00.
- We need about 15 minutes for the handover and instruction. Therefore we need you to arrive minimum 15 minutes prior to your booking.

Rules and Regulations
The tenant is also the skipper of the boat and is fully responsible for the boat and its passengers. He/she is fully liable for any damage to persons and property. The tenant is obligated to strictly observe the following regulations:

- Access to the shore is only permitted at our boat rental Bootsvermietung Enge.
- The minimum distance to the shore is 150 meters.
- Course ships, fishing boats and sailing boats always have right of way.
- The minimum distance to course ships is 50 meters.
- In the event of a storm alarm (orange flashing light 90 times per minute), contact our boat rental immediately.
- The driver must not be under the influence of alcohol (max. 0.5 per mille).
- It is prohibited for our rental boats to lie side by side or even to tie them next to each other. Of course, this also applies to any other boat on the lake.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Before your booking, we recommend reading our Terms and Conditions. In there you’ll find our cancellation policy and postponement guidelines:
3.2 CANCELLATION AND RESCHEDULING CONDITIONS ELECTRIC BOATS SHORTBREAK 5.8

- Up to 48h before rental start, the full amount will be refunded, minus a cancellation fee of CHF 20.00.
- For cancellations less than 48h before rental start, the full amount must be paid, and there will be no refund.
- Any cancellation insurance is the responsibility of the customer and is recommended.
- Instead of a cancellation, bookings can be postponed by arrangement with us. Please contact us by email (mail@bootsvermietungenge.ch) with the indication of the new desired and available date and time. A fee of CHF 30.00 per boat will be charged for last-minute postponements less than 48 hours before the start of the rental period.
- Due to weather conditions, it may be necessary for Boat Rental Enge to cancel bookings, e.g., in case of heavy rain and/or storm warning.
Frequently asked questions
I booked a boat online. When and where should I be?
Please arrive at Bootsvermietung Enge 15 minutes before your booking to ensure a timely start. We will conduct a brief introduction, covering the essential lake rules and explaining the features of the boat. After both parties check the boat for any existing damages or defects (Boat Check) and you sign the rental contract, you are free to depart and enjoy your trip.
Can I bring my dog on the boat?
No, dogs are not allowed on our boats for hygienic reasons and due to the increased potential for damage. However, you are welcome to leave your dog at our boat rental, provided they can handle the lively atmosphere. We offer a shady spot, water, and, if desired, some petting. Our own dogs, Jacks and Rio, usually enjoy having visitors.
Can I buy drinks and snacks on site and take them on the boat?
We have a small selection of beer, sparkling water, and soft drinks available for purchase on site, which you can take with you. We do not offer snacks. Generally, refreshments and snacks can be consumed on the boats as long as there is no excessive mess. You are also welcome to bring your own drinks and snacks on board.
Are there life jackets on the boats?
Yes, all our rental boats, including pedal boats and rowing boats, are equipped with appropriate life jackets. Please note that life jackets are to be used only in emergencies and are not swim aids. You are welcome to bring your own swim aids.
Am I insured?
The renter is fully responsible for the boat and its passengers. The renter is fully liable for any damage to people and property.
Bootsvermietung Enge has liability insurance for all rental boats and comprehensive insurance for the motorboats. Depending on the motorboat category, the renter is liable for a deductible between CHF 1,000.00 and CHF 2,000.00.
The renter remains personally liable for all damages not covered by the liability/comprehensive insurance. If the boat cannot be rented out or can only be rented at a reduced price due to the damage, the renter is liable for compensation.
